Maple Falls is located in the Forest of Nisene Marks State Park and is fed by Bridge Creek. It is about 40 to 50 feet tall. To get there take the Loma Prieta Grade Trail to the Bridge Creek Trail and follow it to the waterfall. It is a 6 to 7 mile round trip hike when the winter gate is open and a 8 to 9 mile hike when the gate is closed. The grade of the trails are mild, but the hike could become difficult for people when some minor climbing is necessary to get through the Bridge Creek area.
